At the moment the band’s frontman is busy being a judge on the TV show Voice of Finland on Channel Four (or Nelonen), but right after the show’s finals the band will make their much anticipated return to the stage.
Michael Monroe will only be playing five gigs in Finland this spring. On Friday 25 of April the band will be performing at Pakkahuone, Tampere (Soundi-klubi), and the following night they will play two gigs at Tavastia-klubi in Helsinki. The afternoon show at Tavastia has no age limit. On the eve of May Day the band will perform at Naantalin Kaivohuone, and the mini-tour will end with a gig on the Turku-Stockholm cruise on M/S Viking Grace on Friday 2 of May.
In this year’s Emma Gaala Michael Monroe will be competing for the title of ‘The Band of the Year’. In addition, the highly-rated album ‘Horns and Halos’ is nominated in the ‘Best Rock Album of the Year’ category.
