From Michael

Q: Are you likely to play in Scotland in the near future

M: As likely as I am to do a U.K. tour. Hopefully in the near future. Can't say for sure yet.

Q: What do you think of playing in Scotland, from previous experience

M: Couple of memorable experiences. Like Hanoi in Dundee. A fight broke out between the band and a few "bullies" from the crowd. I punched out a guy, twice my size, who got up on stage to get me. After that we really won the crowd over. Also once in Edinburg I fell down from the top of the PA stack & cut my arm open on the way. So the rest of the show there was all this blood all over the stage. It kinda made a cool effect.. Scotland gigs have usually been great. Thank You.

From Matias

Q: Are the going to be any more shows here in Finland this year?

M: Probably. Nothing for sure as of yet, but keep an eye out on the internet.

Note! After writing the response above Michael has scheduled three shows for November. Check out the dates from Shows section.

Q: When are the new album coming out?

M: As soon as I find the right label(s) to put it out. Soon after that.

From Mikko

Q: Moi Mike, oletko äänittanyt motorheadin kanssa mitään?

M: Lauloin taustoja Sebastian Bachin kanssa Lemmyn jotain leffaa varten tekemässä biisissä "Born To Raise Hell".

The Doors are closed.

Q: Mita mieltä olet Vince Neilista? Pidätkö Motley Cruen musiikista?

M: En mitään. Nothing. En. Never did.

Q: Guns n Roses on hajonnut, eikö Slash olisi sulle hyvä kitaristi ja biisin tekijä partneri?

M: Mahdollisesti.

Q: Mihin tähtäät muusikon urallasi?

M: Tähtiin... Siihen mitä olen. Kiitos.

From James

Q: What's the <real> deal with why you and Andy haven't really spoken since Hanoi Rocks broke up?

M: That's just a nasty rumour.

Q: When did you get your tattoos, and what is each of their meaning for you?

M: First the "Hanoi Rocks" Rose when I was 17. That was my band. The Black Panther 'cause it looked cool. I've always liked Japanese Culture, Kimonos, colours etc. Therefore the Geisha Girl.

Q: Besides Alice Cooper, who would you say are your major influences?

M: Stiv Bators, Jim Morrison, The Undisputed Truth, Little Richard, John Fogerty, Jean Sibelius, Johnny Thunders, Keith Richards, Nazareth, early Black Sabbath. Little Walter, Ian Hunter, The Damned, The Ruts, to name a few.

Q: Aside from Jude and your family, who is your best friend?

M: Me.

Q: Here's the setting...Michael and Stiv on co-lead vocals, Johnny Thunders on lead guitar, Nasty Suicide on rhythm guitar, Sami Yaffa on bass, and Razzle on drums...You can play any one (1) song in the world, so which one do you play?

M: "The Last Time" (The Rolling Stones)

Comments: Michael, you're a legend. Thanks for not reforming Hanoi Rocks and selling out for big $$$ like everyone else these days.

M: Thank You for the appreciation and understanding.

"What's good for me, yeah, I've heard it before...is the best advice I've ever ignored" --from Dysfunctional off the D23 album

M: * God Bless You * Thank You.

From Wendi

Q: Who is singing back up on Until I Get You on Back to Mystery City?

M: A female session singer. I can't remember her name. It's unbelievable that she hasn't gotten credit on the sleeve. I wasn't responsible... nice voice, eh?

Q: Did you ever write anything or record anything with Stiv?

M: I came up with the chords for "Deadtime Stories" living with him and he helped with the melody. We sang and recorded demos "It's A Lie" & "I Wanna Be With You" (Raspberries) and rewrote lyrics for "She's No Angel".

Q: Is there any chance of you doing a show in Chicago or anywhere in the midwest United States?

M: Yes, I dunno when at this moment.

Thank You.

From Lalle

M: I did know Gary, but never recorded with either of them. Gary was a great guy and also a major influence with and without the "Heavy Metal Kids". By the way I have the offcial bootleg by "Heavy Metal Kids" called "Live And Loud!!" on vinyl. If you're interested contact me through The Net.
