Q: WHAT DID YOU THINK OF VINCE NEIL,AFTER RAZZLE WAS KILLED IN THE CAR CRASH????

M: I DIDN'T.

Q: HANOI ROCKS IS SUCH A GREAT NAME,,,HOW DID IT COME ABOUT???????

M: Me & Andy were throwing about names and he suggested "Chinese Rocks" as the song by Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers. I said No, because it's already someone elses song, but something similar maybe... so he said - How about Hanoi Rocks? I had a flash in my mind like I knew it already. - That's IT!!! -I said.

Q: HOW DID HANOI ROCKS FORM,AND WHO AT THAT TIME DID YOU RESPECT IN THE MUSIC SCENE???

M: We all followed a Northern Star the lead us to Helsinki, Finland. I met Andy in the basement of a Church and we realized we were on a mission.

I personally thought much of Johnny Thunders, Stiv Bators, U.K. Subs, Suicide, The Damned, Cheap Trick, Thin Lizzy, Rolilng Stones, early Alice Cooper, Little Richard, The Ruts, Sex Pistols, The Ramones, MC 5, etc.

Q: ON A TYPICAL FRIDAY NIGHT WHAT HANOI ROCKS DO FOR FUN??????

M: Nothing Typical. Especially on Fridays.

Q: WHAT WAS THE BEST PARTY YOU HAVE EVER BEEN TO???????AND WAS STEVEN TYLER THE PARTY ANIMAL THAT YOU READ ABOUT??????WHAT HAPPENED AT A MOTLEY CRUE PARTY?????? I'M SURE YOU HAVE BEEN TO A FEW PARTIES IN YOUR TIME......

M: I can't remember... (get it? Ha-ha-ha..) *******

As long as I've known Steven Tyler he's been straight as an arrow as far as I can tell. And a brilliant, intelligent nice guy too.

Don't know. I've never been to one. (A "Crue Party")

Q: Any plans on having a tour in Europe? Maybe in UK?

M: Possibly soon, I hope.

Q: When will the next album be released?

Q: Hi Michael...Are you planning to tour soon and will you be making Cleveland Ohio on this new tour?

M: Can't say right now but I sure would like to...

Q: Michael, Being from Ohio, the land of THE DEAD BOYS,,I know you wre frineds with Stiv for many years, as I knew him as well. How did his death affect you during that time?

M: Obviously I was devastated like anybody else who was lucky enough to know him.

An immense loss.

Q: Have your views on music changed since the earlt Hanoi years, if so how?

M: I am the same basically though music has had less to do with the record business over the years.

Q: If you never had made it in music, do you think you would have gone back to teaching ? I know you are highly educated in many facets.

M: Music is the only thing I want to do. Whoever said I was a teacher? I can't recall being one. Maybe I am now as I am in my own way...

Q: Would you ever consider regrouping with the remaining members of Hanoi for a reunion or CD?

M: NO.

FUCK, NO.

Comments: Thank you for this opportunity .

M: My pleasure. Thank You.

You have given me some of the gretest pleasures in music history. As you can see by my screen name...all of my Cats are named after some aspects of Hanoi. I have Razzle,Hanoi and Monroe. Your a dream come true.Keep making music love.
