I've seen many Crystal Extasy concerts lately, and I think they're a good live band with many excellent songs.

I saw Crystal Extasy in concert, and really it wasn't so good.Hanoi or Michael are so far away better.Just my opinion...

C´mon Michael, Where´s your sense of humor?! As LEMMY once said: "There´s no such thing as groupies. only girls." And what´s wrong with f###ing your female fans, ain´t that what the Real Men (like Gene Simmons, 4600+) do!;))
Don´t take me serious

Counting down the days to see you, Andy and the guys rock England. Hopefully will be going Northampton, Nottingham and my crappy hometown of Leicester. Looking forward to the new album(s), never thought this would happen, but am so glad you have 'reformed'. Some negative stuff on this and the 'official' Hanoi site, people have been going on for years about how great a reunion would be, and it seems now its happening a number of fans aren't as into it as i thougt they would be. Anticipating the new Hanoi album, no doubt comparing it to previous works, which i know i shouldn't do, each new album should be taken as an indivdual work of art as every record you guys have ever done. One wish would be to see a live video/DVD which a number of people have asked for. A compilation of concerts, and/or backstage footage would be fantastic- how about it? Wish you every success on the England tour- see you soon.

Hey Mike, Glad to hear you guys are going at it again. Glad I'm not the only rock n' roll fop left around. My group, the Dirty Little Rock Band just split up after two hard years and I'm leaving the state. My hopes of finding other guys who know how to make specticals of themselves AND play in Kentucy (where I'm headed) are slight. Who knows. Anyway, I learned to become a good singer after I found Hanoi Rocks, the Cult, the Damned and Concrete Blonde and stoped trying to immitate alot of L.A. rockers. Thank you, thank you, thank you and good luck.

I agree with the person who said that Extasy is better than Hanoi nowadays. But still I really much enjoy Hanoi, it's just that Extasy is even better. In my opinion they are the best band in this style of music nowadays. They have style big time and anyone who have seen them playin' live would say that they are fantastic band. But I don't think they will become very big because the youth nowadays is not very interested in their kind of music. But it doesn't bug me, they are good and the question of how popular they are is irrelevant. love to extasy, love to michael, love to hanoi. and everyone else too. dig it.

The question whether Crystal Ecstasy aren't ever gonna get bigger, or their glory days are already behind them or whether they indeed are The Next Big Thing should have absolutely no part in if they should be named in the bio or not. It's really about common decency, you know. But that seems to precisely what someone is lacking.

The question whether Crystal Ecstasy will ever become bigger, if their glory days are already behind them or whether they are indeed The Next Big Thing has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that their name isn't mentioned in the bio! The common decency would tell you to mention their name, but it seems that it is somewhat lacking from someone.

Sober?(nope)

Right you are Sandy. Crystal Ecstacy is fresh and sober. I wish they'll reach wider success, they really deserve it.

I think Mickey Crane and Crystal Ecstasy are like Hanoi was back in the old days. Now I have to say they *are even better* than Hanoi Rocks currently is - Hanoi members being around 50 years old it's not too hard to beat them. I really do enjoy Crystal Ecstasy's music and I think they will be a huge success! Don't take me wrong, I think Hanoi is a nice band also, but I'm a bit disappointed to their current stage because on some gigs it looks like they are too "wasted". Playing sober would do some good for them. Anyway, good luck to both bands and thanks for great rockn'nroll!!!

derian
- Saturday, September 28, 2002 at 09:31:37 (EEST)

- Saturday, September 28, 2002 at 04:27:15 (EEST)
Yeah, and it seems that in the updated biography, Mickey Crane and Crystal Extasy have been totally written out of history. The band that backed the famous Andy/Michael- reunion in Turku, supporting Hellacopters is now referred just as "local band". Oh, the pettyness. "Well, it's easy to put the blame on someone else / But it's hard to see yourself / Did you ever take a good look at yourself"

Rosalita, what is so interesting? Biography refers to Mickey Crane, who borrowed an amp, the reference to the sabotage doesn't refer to Mickey but the former guitarist, who wasn't Mickey at that time.

Love to all, try to stay sane inside this insanity. And was it really true that Michael's soloalbum is going to be released so close to Hanoi-album ? It sounds stupid and unbelievable. I wonder where the person who wrote that got the idea of it being so. But still love.
