Hey Michael- What happenned to the US tour? A friend of mine in LA told me you were scheduled to play the Troubadour, then cancelled. I had also heard that you were coming through Dallas (where I live now), but then I never heard any more about it. What gives? I'm a huge fan, and I've flown from Miami to NYC twice to see you, once with Johnny Thunders at Irving Plaza and once was An Evening with Mike Monoroe and Friends at The Grand with Sam Yaffa. Luckily, I got to meet you and even got an autograph! To put it mildly, I'm a dedicated fan, and will go to extreme lengths to find your recordings and see your shows. I've been a fan since '83 when I first found Back to Mystery City (surprising for Miami since you never toured there. Good luck on the new record, and I hope to see you on tour soon. Joey Seeman

Hopefully the US/Canada tour will work out in the near future. Does someone know about the line-up changes? Who did Pink Gibson replace or is he a permanent member of the band? Any other changes? Hopefully not, the band has been great except those "Steve Vai solos" of the other guitarist once a while. If Slash doesn´t come to Finland, maybe Michael could go to Sweden and warm up for the Snakepit...

I've heard rumour, that Snakepit won't perform in Rock in Rio. Instead of performing there they will do some shows in Europe, and then go to Canada. If that is true, and Slash wants to come Finland, I guess there's a pretty fucking good chance that he will come here! Let's hope the best!!

hey hey, my my, Great to see your still alive, many of my idols stiv, johnny have gone to the stars. I was just to young to see Hanoi, caught the tail end of Cherry bombz, Cheep and Nasty ect.. But nothing seemed to capture the magic of Hanoi Rocks! Played and watched 'all those wasted years' thousands of times. No gig I've seen has yet captured the excitment of that video. Any chance of coming to wet England, to warm us up, many of my friends have gone through, many different musical changes, yet we all kept the hanoi stuff, which gave us so many happy memories. I was soooooooooo sad to hear that Michael had to cancel his gig at the Troubadour in Hollywood. I have been waiting (what seems like) all of my life to see him live and now I wonder if I ever will. I am 22 years old and have been a fan since I was 13 (thanks to a cool older brother). I hope that he re-schedules, because there is alot of love for Mike and Hanoi in Hollywood!!!

Lady Black; Michael´s concert last friday was good as always, there was some technical problems, but that was no big deal.The new guitarist (Pink Gibson) is great and the band sounded fine. The set list was mostly MM´s solo stuff (as usual), last encore-number was not-so-often-heard "Looking at You (MC 5)with Mickey (from Crystal Extasy) on Guitar. Great gig from a great man. (Has Michael ever done a shitty show...?)Thanks Michael and good luck for the American tour!!!

Joka tapauksessa, kiitos tästä 'Life Gets You Dirty' -levystä. sain sen vaimoltani (jonka musiikkimaku on uskomaton!) lahjaksi ja olen hänellekin ikuisesti kiitollinen... Levy on loistava, ainakin se alkupuoli on dynaaminen, loppua kohti se ehkä hieman lässähtää, kokonaisuutena se silti potkii vallan julmetusti. Sain juuri itse bändin kasaan ja tää antoi oikeesti potkua biisien tekemiseen, ei me nyt samanlaista soiteta, mutta asenne on aina asenne. Sitäpaitsi kieli on allekirjoittaneen orkesterilla biiseissä suomi, kun se irtoaa helpommin mun kynästä. (inhottaa tätä vanhaa jauhaa, mutta mun mielestä sä oot ainut siitä Hanoin koplasta, joka on onnistunut säilyttämään uskottavuutensa ihan koko ajan!) Erittäin hyvää jatkoa ja oishan ihan huomattavan hienoa, mikäli Joensuun Pop-muusikot saisvat maaniteltua sut ensi kesän Ilosaarirockiin ;)... Lyö kansaa ameriikoissa rocklekalla päähän ja niin edelleen. ai niin. itsekin oon absolutisti nyttemmin, huomattavan hienoa, mies!

I have to say that I'm really happy because of Michael's forthcoming US tour, because I know that fans in States have been waiting for it way too long. It's just so unfair that in Finland we have a chance to see Micheal's gigs so often (I've seen 7 during this year). Ok, VA asked about Andy McCoy's gig - yeah I know that this is Michael Monroe website, but there was no e-mail address so I can't answer any other way (Sorry Michael & Jude...). His teeth seemed to be ok, he did move quite a lot (, but not that much as in the past - well he did sing also, so that's one reason). Don't know about he's health. And yes he did talk...for example he told the crowd that "you're just the same nostalgia gang - it's so fucking easy to get your money". Then he told a story about six cops coming to arrest him with guns in their hands, when Andy was drinking in a pub. Andy was supposed to have something to do with a stolen gold ring... Ok, and so on. Back to Michael - tonight in Helsinki Backyard Babies are supporting AC/DC. Maybe Michael is there too (he's been twice a spesial guest at the Babies gig in Helsinki). Well, I chose the Hellacopters, who are also in town tonight.

Andy's dead, they just haven't buried his body yet. Maybe he wouldn't be in such a state if Razzle hadn't died and Hanoi didn't break up. Ever thought about that? I hardly think that the other fellows are doing too great themselves as far as the music BUSINESS goes. I would MUCH RATHER have seen the Hanoi Roxx go on to get the success, recognition and rewards they deserve, not to mention, see Razzle still alive today.

I know Hanoi were THE best, THE greatest and THE most loved band in the world (well, ok, in MY life!) but I have to confess I'm pleased they broke up when they did otherwise they would all have ended up in early graves. Just look at the state Andy's in. The guy has so much talent but he's wasted on drugs. I'm pleased the other guys got out when they did and are still alive today (with the exception of Razzle of course). I'd rather listen to a solo Michael than a bunch of dead Hanoi's any day! I think he´s doubting wether michael will come to the states or not 'coz there´s been some canseled tours in the past. I still have the faith and think the us will see the king soon.
