I was really thrilled when someone told me there was a Michael Monroe website. This is really cool and is in my favorite places. I always wondered where Michael disappeared to and I am happy to know that he still working on his career. If there is anything I can do to help in any way I will. Peace. :-)

Dear Jude, Mike or Markku, I noticed this response of Jude to Peter. I live in the U.S.A. (like I've metnioned before) we're the last to hear any Hanoi/Mike related news. I just wanted to know the truth of the matter. Did Andy McCoy really get injured? If so How and what happened, and is he alright now? I, just like anyone else, am so sorry that Hanoi had to split back in 85, but remember it was due to a tragedy!!! If there is truth to this matter, I back up Jude, and say " I hope you get better Andy" Hanoi ruled!!!! Remember, Hanoi ruled as 5 guys with perfect chemistry. Mike Monroe rules all by himelf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone.. I have only known Peter for a short time but I know he didn't mean any harm when he wrote the letter. I guess what he wanted to say was that he think of Andy as one of the coolest guy in the world. I got in touch with Peter through this site. After mailing each other for three months he visited me. We had a big party and drank too much wine (at least I did), but it was fun. Peter called me and wanted me to write in the guestbook that he's a nice guy, so...Peter is a nice guy.

Hi.What can I say, I can only take it back if it hurted so many. I can´t imagine Andy´s pain and of course I don´t wish anyone pain, if that is hat you think then I think you have missunderstood me quite a lot. I have been a Hanoi Rocks fan since 84 and Hanoi and the bands afterwords are something that I adore ( maybe that word was a little bit to strong ) but I have heard almost everything and i like it so much that it is not words enough to describe it. So I´m sorry Andy if you took a lot offence by my letter and I hope you will recover soon, to everyone else, I hope you not will kill me. To Dita I want to say, I think Andy is a very good guitarist and has been better all through this years. But I think Andy´s biggest talent is to write songs. HAve a good day folks........ Peter

I've found some Michael Monroe/Hanoi Rocks records in the import section of Tower Records in Glasgow, a few at Virgin MegaStore and HMV, as well. They all seem to sell out quite quickly. Now doesn't it seem that a tour in the UK would be more than welcomed by the fans here? At least I wouldn't mind... :)

Hey Jude, that's a great idea!Of course I am going to join my name too. I'd like to say to Peter from Sweden that I absolutely did not like what he wrote about Andy McCoy.Who are you that you can't imagine anything better than Andy falling down from the balcony ? Andy McCoy is a very special and talented musician and a very good songwriter. What does it mean Andy is that much rock and roll? The three choices I ever came to find were dead, jail or ROCK AND ROLL...

Awright Michael, how the devil are you? Just a wee note to thank you for introducing me to a lifestyle and music that changed my life. I was 13 when I first got into Hanoi Rocks which was around the time that Razzle got killed (RIP). Your band had a profound influence on the rest of my teenage years and introduced me to a variety of bands I might never have listened to (New York Dolls, Thunders, Lords of the New Church, Dead Boys etc)......My musical tastes have moved and developed over the years(I'm a bit of a Stones freak now I guess) but out of all the bands of your era (that whole glam/punk thing)I would just like to tell you that Hanoi is the only band I can still listen to. WHY?......Because your songs are timeless and classic. In my eyes, all the bands that copied you and went on to bigger and better things are unlistenable now......you know who I mean..... The only video I still watch from that period is "All those Wasted Years"....possibly the most affecting live video I have ever seen (even better than the Stones in Madison Sq gardens 1972!!!) Anyway...I hope you come to London soon....and before I go.......I used to do that blonde backcombing thing for a few years and I tell you.....I never got laid so often!!! It usually began with a nice young girl saying.."OOOOOHHH don't you look just like Mike Monroe....." Cheers Mark 24

Great web page! I love Michael Monroe. I touched his shoulder once. :) I was at the Danzig/Soungarden/Warrior Soul show in NYC. I am also a big soundgarden fan. Michael was in line trying to get in to see warrior soul, his comp tix were lost with mine. :( Just as I tapped him, and he turned aroud, I told him that I was a huge fan and thrilled to meet him. Someone (with his tix, called to him) and he said excuse me, and blew me off, went in and enjoyed the show. As I waited for my tix. I got in as Warrior Soul had ended, and Michael was rushing out, missing soundgarden. :( As I said earlier, he blew me off, but it was the most awsome blow off I ever got. ;) I still love you Michael! - Jon

Hey Jude Wilder you are a god. Not exactly but in the end youy will be. this was the best news I´ve heard since I saw that Andy McCoy has fallen down from a balcony and probably broked his leg. Dont think that I dont like Andy, he just that much rock´n´roll that i gotta laugh. I´ve saw in a newspaper( I think it was 95, when he tured building on tradion )that he had felt asleep on the stage. How can you fall asleep on stage, I once falled asleep when I saw mano Negra but I wasn´t on the stage, performing. I think my humor is a little bit absurd. Is there anyone who knows where in Sweden I can find Jan Stenfors new album, I would die to have it. Then I wonder isn´t Mike going into the studios soon. Jerusalem slim -92, Demoliton23 -94, Piece of mind-96, isn´t time for that soon. I´m just longing for my owen sake. Which song is this taken from?..............if you wanna take me home. CAn anyone fix it without going through all youre records. Peter

For a fan living in the Netherlands it is great to see this wonderful site and to know that Michael monroe is alive and kicking! Over the past years I've spent incredible times browsing to find Michael Monroe and related stuff in the shops all over Europe...and found almost all records. It would be nice if Judy's petition would end up with Michael's records in Dutch shops as well...

I hope that as many people as possible will join the petition. I´ve got some friends in Sweden, who have travelled to Finland (3 times) to see Michael & Judy perform. It would be great it they could have an opportunity (in the near future) to see Michael live in Sweden. It goes without saying that there are a lot of Michael Monroe Fans around the world, SO PLEASE MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD AND LET´S MAKE THE MICHAEL MONROE WORLD TOUR 98/99 A REALITY................. Been a fan of Michaels since i can remember. Haven't heard much news from all these shitty magazines printing all that grunge and other junk that has been polluting our air waves. Between the record companies and MTV we have been forced to listen to this garbadge. It's time we all take a stand and scream in the words of Lita Ford"I WANT MY FUCKN'ROCK-N-ROLL".

I just wanted to write this to wish Jude and Mike the best of luck with their petition. Jude is exactly right, Mike is probably the most talented and yet most under rated person in rock n' roll. He needs more exposure and only we can help with that. I want Mike to put out music for a long time to come. It would be nice to find Mike's music at our local record stores instead of going through special orders. So show your support. I saw Mike in Toronto, live, on Feb. 1st 1998. It was probably one of the best experiences of my life. And to meet him was a dream come true. I want that to be the first, but definately not the last time I'd ever get to see him live. We all need to spread the word and help any way we can. Jude's doing a great job, but can't do it all herself. Let's all help to keep Mike rockin' forever. We need him back in the states!!!
