(EET) I'd just like to say hello to Michael (I've
been a big fan for years) and ask when he is coming to Britain,
as I've never been able to see him live...I love the music and
would like to thank Michael for the hours of smiles it's given
me in an often unsmiley world! I won't have a regular email address
until October, but when I do, I'll be in proper touch with you,
Markku (I used to email Jukka many years ago) - I love the site
and can't wait till October! Love and lipstick from the Hollywood

Great show on Tampere! We drove 240km on the 8th of March to
see Mike live, the first time in a year! The show kicked ass
and Mike was clearly excited too. I heard he's there in the end
of the month too. Another hot night ahead... Hope to see you
all there!

Todella hyvä mesta! Myös uusimmassa City-lehdessä
kehuttiin tätä paljon. Kiitokset siis Markulle. Onko
Mike heittämässä uusia keikkoja Hesassa tai lähistöllä
lähiaikoina? Edellisestä näkemästäni
showsta onkin jo kolme kuukautta. P.S.Tavastialla on 15.3 levymessut
klo 10-16 ja sieltä saattaa löytyä jotain asiaan
kuuluvaa materiaalia. Tulkaa!

Mike really rules OK! I´ve been a huge fan Hanoi Rocks
since 1984. In that year I was only twelve years of age, but
understood already the message; do your things in yer way and
don´t chance for no-one! In year 1987 Mike´s Solo
album "Nights are so long" ment a lot to me, when I
was in a tender age of fifteen and helped me to believe in myself
and develop my individualism further. How can I thank you enough
for that Mike! By the way; how long does it take to load the
video clip of "Make it go away" ?!!!

(EET) I have been a huge fan of Michael Monroe
since Hanoi Rocks and his solo albums when I was in high school.
I also from 1993 to 1996 had the pleasure of managing an artist
named Phil "wildman" but trying to be "straight
man", Grande. Phil is the most talented guitarist I have
ever witnessed, we just couldn't seem to get his career off the
ground. Maybe it was the current climate of the music business
or the fact that it is such a fucked up business I don't know.
Any way Phil always spoke fondly with a sparkle in his eye about
the music he made with Michael Monroe. Phil played on the last
effort by Belinda Carlisle but unfortunately it did not get much
air-play in the states. Anyway I miss working with Phil but do
keep in touch with him every once in a while. He still fights
his demons every day but I think he might finally be winning.
I know you know how good Philly is because he appeared on and
was part of some of your best work. I tried to get through to
Axl Rose's management to see if he would like to work with Phil
when I read he was looking for a guitar player but, I never could
track him down. I know Philly would love to work with you again
and make some great rock'n'roll. If so please contact me and
I will contact Philly. I look forward to hearing any work you
do in the future. Sincerely, Jack Warren at Rock In A Hard Place
