you know mike you should hook up with the guys that did that album with stiv bators "disconected" that band rocked and that record label "BOMP" is still going and seems to have a good reputation with bands they work with. You know i think it would be cool if you just threw together a sloopy ass record with real bad production....it probaly would be better than anything out there and it would have a better feel. i think these days your stuff sounds almost to good.

Hey I just thought of something.. I saw Hanoi Rocks at the Electric Banana in 1984 for the first time and what a complete blast it was! My sister and I were visiting London and I waited a whole week for this concert.. So off I went on a train to this place and there were like ten bands playing and some of the wildest characters I ever saw in my life! Sis had a date so I went alone, I wasn't going to miss this for anything! So after about 4 hours out came Hanoi Rocks and I was mesmorized the whole time and by the time I got outta there I was soakin wet and exhausted but I was determined to go backstage to get a glimse of you Mike. So, I left about a song early and then I discovered that backstage was all the way around the damn block! Another thing, England basically closes down around 11-12 at night which was really really bizarre to me, I was used to being able to stay out until 3am! Anyway, I got back there and out you came and whooshed right past me so I really didn't get to meet you then. So a little despaired I started to walk to the train because last train out was 12 midnight - I didn't want my sister to worry about me so I definitely wanted to be on that train (no cell phones back then! ha! not that I would've have figured out how to dial anyway :)) Anyway, I'm walking along and who comes up to me but Nasty Suicide walking to the damn train himself! He said he would walk me to the train so I said sure! I knew he was in the band but I really didn't know you guys then so I didn't really think about it too much but he was really a cool dude! He asked if I wanted to go to a party (now this is what I'm wondering... if Mike was at that party...) I explained that I had to go to meet my sister and he tried to get me to go but I thanked him and left on the train waving goodbye - now when I think about it, I could kick myself hahaha! He really was a nice guy - but lo and behold, the very next year was when you came to the Ritz in New York which is about an hour from my house so off I went with my friend Ziggy. What a night! Got backstage and took that pic with you that I mentioned in the other post, and on top of that Nasty remembered me! Too damn much! Now what is really hysterical is after that Ziggy and I were determined to go where Hanoi was going after the concert so, I don't know how the hell we found out where you were going but when we got there we ran outta money and couldn't get in!!! How horrible is that? So, standing outside, Ziggy starts talkint to this guy and this old man. The guy's name was "Izzy" haha Ziggy and Izzy. Well this guy turned out to be in the band Guns and Roses but that was before they were famous. Izzy drove us all the way back to New Jersey with this old man and he took us to a diner where we ate burgers etc. He really had a thing for my friend Ziggy - her and I were like opposites, I was this tall blond punker-type chick and she was a small petite greek, with long dark hair metaler, no wonder he liked her huh? Too funny - that was a great time ~ just wanted to share it :) Memmmmmmmmorieeeeeeeeeeees

First, now that Guns N' Roses is back in action (although not in the original line-up), have you had any talks with Axl about maybe appearing in their gigs or anything? Here's a piece of my mind tonight... I guess it would be cool to see Michael & Andy tour a bit or record a new song or two. I just don't wanna see them try to "re-unite" Hanoi Rocks with Gyp or anyone else. Let the legend stand as it was made. And I'd be pretty shocked if Michael ever agreed to tour with Poison, let alone speak to those guys. Bret Michaels should be paying Micahel half his earnings ever since his band hit it big. Him, Vince Neil, Stevie Rachelle... how many people ripped off Michael's look and Hanoi's sound over the years? Probably one or two less than the tons who stole Johnny Thunders's haircut from the Dolls era (umm, Nikki Sixx?) Pretty obvious who's fakin it and who isn't. Don't follow me- I'm lost too...

I read a book sometime ago, it was about a band that was active in the beginning of the eighties, made a couple records, toured round the globe then broke up. Those albums have been reissued now and have got excellent reviews. The lead singer was almost straight before getting in the music business, but got in to narcotics bigtime during the years. He got a minor hit in the end of the 80´s. Moved to the country with his girlfriend/wife and lived quite isolated and drugparanoid time with some plumbing and mould problems in the house he was living. His solo records didn´t sell that much and the usual problems with the management and record company followed. He was quite big in Japan thou and toured there with success. He also started collecting toys..... Sounds kinda familiar doesn´t it ? Well the band was Teardrop Explodes/Julian Cope and the book was Head on/Repossesed. Go and buy it ! Maybe he can be seen as a tortured soulmate to Mr. Monroe.

Michael and Andy were on the JHS-show yesterday (on Finnish TV). Andy and Michael talked, joked and...... performed together. They played Taxi Driver! If You saw the show, You know that these two guys belong together! No doubt about it! Let´s hope they´ll continue to thrill us with that Monroe-McCoy magic in the future. It doesn´t have to be a Hanoi Rocks comeback. As long as these two blokes play together, they can call themselves anything they want!

Wow! Ihan tajuton show eilen Joonas Hytönen Showssa yhdessä Andyn kanssa! Taxi Driver oli ihan vitun kova! Paska homma ku loppu lähetys kesken Up Around The Bendin kohalla:( Andy heitti ihan sika hyvää läppää näist hiihtäjistä...Ei saatana!:) Mike ja Andy puhu kokoajan päällekkäin ei meinannu saada mitään selvää ku molemmat pälättää omaa juttuaan mut silti ihan jees juttu oli kyl toi eilinen. Ei kyl ollu mikään maailman hienoin paita se mitä ne esitteli siellä...Noh ROCK'N ROLL!!!
