ATTENTION! I like Hanoi and Guns N' Roses, but it's a shame that there is not the bands like those in these days. I'm playing in the band (PARASITE CITY), which tries to 'break- trough' with old Glam Rock Music, but it's very hard nowadays! Please, all friends, visit us at: http://www.parasitecity.com and don't hesitate to leave the message / your opinion about the band / music to the Guestbook..thx! ( We don't mind, if you want to 'spread the word' about us...'cause there 's not so many good rock band in the world right now..) Keep the Rock faith & stay alive!! The Mud

okay. oh,it's very easy to be sweet to people before you love them. i'm not interested in love; not in a romantic meaning, but sure i love my cats and my sister's terrific kids. whores have no illusions. i kinda envy them. it's just taking care of yourself and not taking shit from anybody. but hey i love life very much though it took many many almost fatal suicide attempts before realizing that. life is worth living. solveig

it's long time I last time wrote there. it was 21.6 or something.. the stupid letters are written here by me only because (yes) i'm still young, i like to drink wrong way and that makes shitty sounding letters. you grown-ups maybe can't understand it, but some day i will grow up too and write wise letters.

Hello all you good old time rock'n'roll fans. I have always listened bands like Hanoi Rocks etc. an I always will. It's great to see that there still are people who look and behave like real rockstars (because that Mike and Andy certainly are). And believe me when I say that true rock is still alive and kickin'. Go check the website below...Riz...

hey there! i like ideas about breaking away or overthrowing the established order. i'm intereseted in anything about revolt, disorder, chaos, especialliy activity that had no meaning. it seems to me to be the road to freedom- external revolt is a way to bring about internal freedom. second time around. solveig

well, i was sitting in this health center today and a poster on the wall caught my eye. it said: win one heart over every day. that was kinda funny. and to my mind came hanoi rocks. i know it's very easy to win over hearts everyday for a genuine rock'n'roll band like you. yes, it's easy for you. but with that comes along certain responsibility to those hearts that appreciate your unique band. so don't go breaking those hearts with any crappy music. always aspire to higher and do the work it takes. create always. that's what god does too. i'm really looking forward to ankkarock don't crap out. ok, i know you won't 'cause you're pros. bye. solveig

Michael Monroe on oikeasti siltä Niburu-planeetalta maapallolle soluttautunut alien-salaliittolais-hiippari... =) lol =) Älkää stressatko!

What's the problem? Niburu, Planet X, or 32 other names, whichever you prefer; is the planet which is supposedly going to pass by earth, 14 million miles away at it's closest, in May to June of 2003 on it's journey around the sun every 3600 years. It is not a planet considered to be IN our solar system but DOES pass THROUGH our solar system in this 3600 year cycle. Planet X's passage next year could be the greatest catastrophic infliction of loss of life upon mankind, since Noah’s Ark. Supposedly, Planet X will enter the Earth’s orbit between May 15 and May 30 of 2003. Volcanoes all over the Earth will erupt along with multiple high magnitude earthquakes, whereby two thirds of the Earth’s population will be annihilated. Another 20% will starve to death during the next six months due to lack of food, water, sunlight and volcanic ash that will cover the Earth. Subsequently, only about 10% of the E arth’s population (600 million) will survive, which fits in nicely with the New World Order scenario for the reduction of Earth’s population. This may well be one reason for all the underground shelters through out the United States and the rest of the world. This will enable only the chosen people of the New World Order to survive. By keeping this story out of the major media it will delay the collapse of the world economy, stock markets and real estate prices. voiko tohon uskoa? http://www.detailshere.com/niburu.htm#Proof?
I'm afraid we are all dead soon..

It is funny, because I were there with 8 of my friends and we found the show excellent! These dudes rocked the place so hard that I needed to go straight to my boyfriend to make love. And it was great! Mainly because fantasizing those guys, especially the guitarist who played the black Gibson. He is so cute. I could store him into a bottle! The singer was great, too. All of us (all NINE) wet our pants while listening his gorgeous voice! But anyway, I think we will stop writing here and move to Hundred Million Martians questbook, instead hanging here old farts section. Kisses!

11th street tales is 87% crap. It's a shame that there's no good tribute album to Hanoi. Oh well..I like Sads version of "Tragedy" and Bach's "Motorvatin'/Fallen Star" is ok too.. it sounds like it's been played live in studio but that's not a bad thing..

Does this sound familiar to you? Something tells you to look at the clock and it's 11:11. This has happened to me a lot of times in the past 6 months. In fact, so many times that I started wondering about it. It happens mostly with digital clocks, but sometimes you see it on receipts etc. I decided to do a google search of "11:11" and found out that a lot of people are experiencing the same. I do not believe in any paranormal and I'd certainly like to hear if someone's got a reasonable explanation for this. Do you?

I don't know how the find the japanese tribute album, but Missi, do you have the other Hanoi Rocks tribute album "Eleventh Street Tales" where e.g. Bubble (Taxidriver) and Hardcore Superstars (Don't you ever leave me) are doing Hanoi covers. The album is somewhat uneven, but there are some very good songs. There is a brilliant version of Café Avenue on it.

Hey Michael, Just wanted to say that I am really looking forward to your new songs, Hanoi and the solo album. I am a huge fan of your writing and always enjoy what you put out. It is great to see the avenues you choose and the way your writing takes shape. Keep up the good work and best of luck in the future. You are an inspiration of the highest calibur; and your determination, vigilance and hard work are all out there for the world to see. I hope the negative feedback has not taken a toll on you. There is a great quote from one of our politicians here in the states, Donald Rumsfield, that says "If they're not saying anything bad about you, maybe you aren't doing enough." Keep up the good work. Regards, Tim

hey, people..if you don´t have any better thing to do but to pick on one another you might as well to shut up... There are peolpe that like different music and there´s really nothing you can do about it... Releasing your own perspective about a subject is ok, but as a mature human being there´s no point pick on someones taste of music and making the other feel miserable... by the way, has anyone any idea how´s the new hanoi album coming up? please let me know..thanks! :) love and light, Nina

I know where you people are coming from with your comments regarding Motley Crue. I have never bought their albums (probably because of what Vince Neil did). I feel the same way about Ted Nugent (he said he would "piss on Philip Lynott's grave") and I will never, ever, ever buy anything of his. Life is short, and if you make your bed, you must be prepared to sleep in it.. Having said all that though, I am totally thrilled that Michael and Andy are making music together again, I have waited and waited since the mid 80's for this moment, and no one will spoil it for me!!! I am a huge Thin Lizzy fan as well, but unfortunately I will never get to see them again, so if you have a chance to see your favorite group (ie:HANOI ROCKS), don't slag each other, just enjoy the moment as much as you can because you never know when it will be gone forever... Thank you Michael and Andy!!!!

Yeah. It's quite amazing how hard it is to have a good human relations. At some point someone will always freak out, get mad and break the relationship - whteher it's a marriage, friendship or whatever. I too would want to have a wife and live with her for the rest of my life, but it is impossible. And it doesn't help if you're a Hanoi Rocks fan - we all get relationshipwrecked!

some like mötley, some hanoi and some like somethign else. One thing that I like in Hanoi is that they were more than "brainless-posing-machoshit-hardrockband". Hanoi was so much things.

I AM A REAL HANOI-FAN, IN THE END OF DECEMBER 1984 I BURNED ALL MY MOTLEY-STUFF. THEY REALLY SUCK, SPECIALLY AFTER POSING AMONG CRASHED CAR PARTS IN THE INNERSLEEVE OF "THEATRE OF PAIN" -85. BAD TASTE OR WHAT ?

I'm a huge Hanoi fan who owns all Motley's albums too. I know what Vince did to Razzle but for me it's still about the music and nothing else. What happened was tragic but it doesn't stop me liking Motley's music.

I heard M.A Numminen was covering the Hanoi songs "Problem Child & Love´s an injection" is that true ? Maybe he could replace Mike if he jumps off the band ? He could call himself M.A.I.K Nummirocker right ?

Vince Neil killed Razzle with this car "http://www.bumpertobumperinc.com/images/72%20pantera/Mvc-001s.jpg". 1972 Ford Pantera. It is exactly like the one in the picture, it was just red.

i saw vince neil last night in minneapolis. (in case you're wondering, i had free tickets.:) he didn't go onstage until just after midnight (the club closes @1:00!) it was so awful that we left just before 12:20. pretty pathetic. vince looked like he had a beach ball stuffed down his shirt, and he was singing about every third word.:) he seemed totally wasted...just thought some of you may enjoy that.

yeah, I've heard Mickey's band too, Crystal Extasy is so goddamned real stuff. Pity for Hanoi, luck for Extasy that Mickey doesn't play in Hanoi 'cos I think then Extasy would've died. But Ruisrock was really good show, Until I get You especially sounded very good. Love to Hanoi, Love to Extasy.

Yeah, Mickey Crane was cool but he has got his own band now. BTW, Andy, I hope you will learn to respect yourself and you manage to get rid of booze/drugs! Joe Cocker released a single called "respect yourself" and he tells us that he learned to respect himself when he quit drinking last year. He quit smoking also and now he feels so strong and good!! Joe had been drinking 40 years.

Popedan pitkän uran varrelle on siunaantunut useita hittejä, kukapa ei muistaisi mm. ” Kuuma kesä”, ”Sukset”, ”Kaasua”, ”Matkalla Alabamaan” , ”Tahdotko mut tosiaan” jne.

I was watching 6.7 band called Parasite City in Hämeenlinna, Kauppari, and I was very suprised the way how those guys played rock n roll! They really rocked! They were like Hanoi Rocks 20 years ago, or Guns N' Roses in their early days!! That kind of attitude I haven't seen a long long time! That band is definetely worth of watch! I guess we'll all hear those rockers in 2 years! I found the homepage also: http://www.parasitecity.com

Great gig in Ruisrock, I loved every moment of it! It was one of the best gigs I've ever seen, they played brilliant songs, Until I get you and everything... Ah! Maybe I should go to Ankkarock too... Great, rock'n'fuck'n'roll!!! JIM: The article I was talking about was in Treffi, and Treffi is the Thursday supplement of a Finnish newspaper named Turun Sanomat. There's stuff about movies, music, gigs, TV programmes and so on. There was an article of Michael Monroe last Thursday. It was named "A day in a rockstar's life" or something like that, and that pretty much tells what it's all about. There are no ordinary days in Michael Monroe's life or so I've heard :). I quite liked the article and there were nice pictures too. It's on the net, but that doesn't help much because it's in Finnish.

Got some questions for you Hanoi-experts out there..... (saw them at Sweden Rock Festival) 1. The intro was really cool, how long has the band used that intro, and "what is it" originally ? I was expecting Pipeline... 2. The opening song -Delirious, is a cover but who´s done the original and have hanoi recorded the song before ? 3. Does anyone know why the show was videotaped ? 4. Do anyone know something about the new album ? I must say that the show was fucking brilliant...and Mike is really a fronman out of this world...he really surprised and took the audience by storm ! Of course it was really great the day before the show when we got our chance to meet the guys at the signing-session. One of the happiest days in my life...i almost cried..... Well, men dont cry, but what the fuck - i was touched by the hand of god....

Hey!! Some people may remember that Mike played a show in London a few years back with Demolition 23. Well this show fucking rocked, not just because of D23, not because of the debauchery that went off at the aftershow, but also because the support that day were Waterbratz! criminally ignored at that time - we were in the style of Backyrd babies - except they carried on and WB split up! A new band from the embers of Waterbratz! have now surfaced called drugdealercheerleader - check out the website, check out the band - we are here to play rock n roll and give the current music scene a kick up the arse! www.drugdealercheerleader.com Enjoy yourselves Hilda XX
