I think HR is right. Because it is the `Guest Book´ Gueat Book is the place for writing the message and greeting for Michael,Web Master and another fans not for disscussing the rumor. Generaly `Message Board´ is the place to disscuss the topics with another fan and ask question for the people. I think Hanoi Revisited Board is nice message board for us. ; )

Oh cut the crap it was so fucking tiny little incident that was in Ilta-Sanomat. All Hanoi fans go to www.hanoirevisited.com and go to the new guestbook and get a membership there there is only true Hanoi fans and not any fucking winers!

Okei. Michael Monroe tuomittiin petoksesta. Mitä sitten ?Lehdet vaan jauhaa paskaa tollasist asioista ja koittaa suurennella niitä. Juttuhan synty vaan kahdesta keikasta, joka on siis ihan pikku juttu.

Rene Berg's "Gang Bang"-CD is actually a re-release of his 1992 album "The Leather, The Loneliness and Your Dark Eyes" under a different title.

It`s hard to believe because Rene reliesed an album ("Gang Bang") with Rat Scabies and Bernie Thorme in `99. Does anybody heard that one? He has also working with Darrel Bath at the time - (according to my London mates) Tervitades jälle Louna-Eestist!!!

Holy Shit. I have just read " Neighbourhood Threat " on tor with Iggy Pop 1988. Really great book who is written by Alvin Gibbs who also was the bassplayer on that tour, and by the way also played with Cheap And Nasty. On Leadguitar on that Iggy tour was Mr.McCoy, and the book is really great reading about the life on the road. You can order it from bol.com on the net. And now to my question: Does anybody knows where a i can get some live videos from Iggys Instinct Tour 1988, i would be very happy to know. CHEERS FROM SWEDEN

Just wanna say that Michael's music has won one more new fan: I played Life Gets You Dirty to a new friend of mine who likes Hanoi Rocks, and kaboom, she liked it. She also said she used to know Andy back in the days when both she and Andy had been starting new lives in Stockholm. Such a small world.

I wrote you a long time ago, about the time you released "Not Faking It". I was wondering if you ever had a Stet Howland as a drummer. As a brother musician, I totally dig your music and style. If you ever tour the states again, please let me know. Same if you are in need of a bassist. Thank you for at least reading my note. Peace

I beleive I am one of the few who wants you to stay solo. Don't get me wrong I love Hanoi Rocks but without you touring the U.S. all I have to look forward to your soso albums and if you spend all your time touring Europe and Asia with Andy there won't be many solo albums coming. I had to wait quite a while for Life Gets You Dirty to be available here (I ordered it) and it is the best albumn I have bought in years and is better than any Hanoi Rocks album. Very few (if any) artists stay relevant after a decade but you have only gotten better. I would love to see you stay with Andy only if you can make it to the U.S., Colorado in particular. Thank you

To Michael: My stereo turned to a time machine when I played your songs. As the track of the records keep playing the same songs, my memories just returned as like before. Your CD turned to a castle which was made by ice. When the music's gone, my heart was frozen inside of the castle with the tears which I cryed for you. Burn new CD by your meltingly love songs. Please, take me out from here... Lovexxoo

Hi, Mr Monroe ! (sorry if my english is not as good as yours !) I'm an amateur guitar and bass player (...when I can! not as often as I want) who plays styles including blues and Rn'R. I want you to know that your music and Hanoi stuff have had a big influence on the way I think Rn'R has to be played. Thank you for the quality of the music you give us, it's always mind-blowing and "ass-kicking"!I mean : TERRIFIC !!!(maybe I forgot : excellent) If I make a Rock n'Roll demo (if I find some time to do it), would you mind listening to it ? Finally, I wish you the best things for your future, for you to succeed overcoming (at least partially) what you are going through these days.

"Lovers never lose, happiness is happening, gentleness is everywhere"

Hi Michael, The other day I was playing all my Hanoi Rocks stuff I used to listen to as a teenager. I felt all young again and it brought back some great memories. You were an inspiration to wear a scarf tied round my head! Although I never got to see you live and still haven't, your music brings back memories of such great times for me. Thats why I got curious and thought I would see what you were up to now. Grief is something I haven't yet had to deal with but I hope that in yours you can look to your past for some good memories and realise that having someone for so long is a rare thing. I have been with someone for a while now and would be devastated if anything happened. I know its a cliche about time being a healer. I don't believe time will heal things and maybe we shouldn't want to be healed of a great love we feel. BUT time will bring you many more of life's prizes and surprises though so hang on in there and find out what they are!

KALLELLE: Ei aurinko jaksanut nousta sydämessäni Ne saastaiset piikkilangat estivät lintujen lennon Häijy tunne sielussani Pohjaton viha katseessani Tällainen minä olen Tällaiseksi minut opetettiin Kun yö lepää omassa mustuudessaan Vaeltaa sieluni kuten aiemminkin Hakien sitä jotain Ehkä sua, en tiedä Ja aamun koittaessa nukahdan levottomiin uniin Jotka palaavat uudelleen ja uudelleen Kunnes lopulta en jaksa enää Pelkään nukahtaa Kuljen kuin kulkuri Ilman toivoa, ilman rauhaa Vain kävelen eteenpäin elämäni tiellä Enkä tiedä mitä teen, jos eksyn En osaa kotiin suunnistaa Ja ehkä siksi kuljen ympyrää Kun en halua eksyä Vaikka sydämeni huutaa muualle Pois tästä kivusta Pois tuskasta Siksi en hymyile En naura silmilläni En tunne mitään Siksi ihmiset sanovat mun olevan paha He eivät näe sydämeni itkevän niitä miljoonia verisiä kyyneleitä He eivät kuule sieluni ikävää He eivät tunne minua... Michael keep making records because were still out here and we will never go away. One of my favorite lines you ever whipped out on stage was the album I had that was stolen from the board by Andy ,,have you ever seen what a 44 magnum can do to a womans face? The sound of those people getting repulsed through the rest of that joke was timeless.I met Andy in Atlanta while Shooting Gallery toured with Kiss he smoked a ciggarette like he needed it.

HI Michael! Just a quick note to say that I hope you are coping somehow...When somebody we love so much dies,we die ourselves...little by little..until it feels like we are no more...I lost the person I loved more than anything in the world,my grandma,...I always said we will die together as I couldn't possibly exist without her...But here I am,15 months later, and her love stays with me,and she sometimes comes to my dreams...we have such a giggle together...It's not the end, they have just slipped into another room...Please take very good care of yourself,go to places you've never been, take distance, but still smile at all the good memories...Thay make you richer than any money can...And keep on rockin&putting a smile to our faces too....Love&Kisses,Kira

Hi Michael! ah! ah! ah! Very funny what you wrote on the Midem stuff and at the same time so dawn true! I saw these guys with their laminates around the neck and it made me understand why today, radios are so much polluated by bullshit. But don't worry for your live performance, I met several people after this show, and we all were sharing the same opinion: you were incredible on stage! And even if you met tonz of technical problems, this date will stay into our hearts as a highlight of this year. Now we're just expecting to see you back on our roads, with your roadies, and blow us away one more time. Thanx so much for the great present you gave to your French fans this evening. Love and respect Sandrine

Mutta discography-sivun voisi kyllä päivittää Peace of Mind- ja Life Gets... -jenkkijulkaisujen osalta. Kansineen kaikkineen.

Teen poikkeuksen ja kirjotan suomeksi. Vain koska englantini on hiukan ruosteessa. Otan osaa suruusi Michael. Toivon jaksamista sinulle jatkossakin äläkä anna pahojen puheiden vaikuttaa! Keep up the good work!!!

Hi MIchael, it was really refreshing to read your comments on music buzinez types. I watched Midem coverage on ATV in vain hope of catching a glimpse of you guys, and of course the programs were made by a phat buzinez guy (of Leningrad Cowboys, who introduced buzinez "rock" to Finland) of phat buzinez guys. Really sad. Someone wished somewhere you´d make a really representable video ala HIM. well, I too hope you´ll get great promotion, but definitely NOT like these importable bands. To call yourself rock, and being everything but is about the most blashphemous thing I can think of. Someone will get these posers in the end. (another vain hope, perhaps, but I won´t let it die)

Hi Michael, I find your remarks about your wife very refreshing. You are saying things without "guarding" yourself too much. That shows a lot of comfort with yourself and your feelings. You are reminding all of us that it's not necessary to rush through bad times, since it's OK to be hurt and that there's always something to look forward to. Keep on being that way. Your'e an inspiration. PS When it comes to those "Business" types you talked about, it's deppressing. But what can you do? I live in NYC and have a great assortment of A Holes to work with in the future! F' it, I'll stay happy knowing who I am!

I feel like shit today, so I just want to get something off my chest. Heck to any negative reaction from anyone else who reads this, it's Michael's guestbook and I'm writing it in the hope he reads it. I regret ever answering the guy on Lambchop's list who wondered what that gossip said, feel like in part I helped kickstart some fuss, tho I just stated what was said and that no-one who knew you would ever break your trust by commenting on it. I won't even being to patronise by saying I understand your pain or know what it's like to lose someone who means that much to you, I don't. I only hope you live thru it and find happiness again, within yourself, alone or with someone. I miss Jude. Sure I got to know her thru my interest in you but I liked her for herself, I enjoyed talking to her for her own personality and would have been happy to know her whether she's been anything to do with you or not. She did some stuff that hurt, but I've tried to understand and put it aside. She was a friend, I'll always hurt that we last spoke on kinda weird circumstances. Jude was a true original, a deep and intriguing person I regret that I never got to know better and I hope she knows I was on her side. I'll miss her, she, more than many, didn't deserve what happened. No flannel from me about how she's in a good place now, I don't believe in life beyond death. Michael, I hope life lets you stay yourself, doing things your way, and brings you happiness. Stay honest, so long as you can face yourself that's all that matters and you know it. Jude, I miss you heaps as a friend and wish it hadn't turned out this way. Love for you both - xxxx

MIchael wrote: "Most of all I don't want to give any more free publicity to a low-life scum rag that thrives on peoples misery and encourages the type of morbid curiosity and sleazy mentality." Well, that's true, but there are also a lot of people in this country who want to become celebrities at any prize. They want to be on the cover of this mag too. They get paid for it - not as much as they think. So my point is that the magazine(s) shouldn't always be blamed if there are people who want to read this kind of shit, and a a lot of egocentric and greedy peoplpe who want to get publicity. The journalists are just doing their work. They really don't give a shit about who is the person they are writing about.

Thank You Michael for the new letter! It is always nice to hear what's going on (from the only person who we should listen). I for one, can never wait to hear news about Michaels music. I appreciate him sharing his thoughts with us, especially now after his loss, when a lot of people are genuinely concerned about him. None of us have the right to do inquisitions about his private life and it is unfortunate to notice some people doing so. Luckyly Michael is intelligent enough to ignore the rumor telling rotten apples and give credit to the caring true fans. Now there's a reason to respect the man! I'm very exited just to see what's going to happen next with his solo band. And I just hope Michael will have some gigs here before I go back to UK, and of course I will be waiting the day he comes to tour Britain, keeping my fingers crossed. Anyways, I hope everyone is having a good day! Love&Light!

Does anyone happen to have an audio or a video tape of the Channel Show in NY from Iggy´s Instinct tour? The one where Andy was high on Angel Dust(PCP) but managed somehow to pull through it with some surrealistic playing:). The AWOL lead guitarist of Iggy had gone missing on their way to the Channel Club from their hotel. Only like a minute before the show time Andy strolled in like nothing had ever happened-knee deep in sky high:)

Hi, Just to say I loved the site and to share a fond memory. Way back in 1982 after the split of the Pistols/Generation X etc...I thought my life had ended until I saw a photgraph of 'Hanoi' in my little sisters magazine. I rushed out and bought the import of 'Self Destruction Blues' then sat tight until the band made it over to the UK. I had plans to see them in Edinburgh but the night before th bands van was trashed in Dundee and the gig was postponed. Luckily I met Michael in a local hotel, not a top class one I might add, I had a chat and took some polaroids, he looks so young when viewed now. Anyway, he invited me through to Glasgow to see them the next night at a place called Night Moves. What a show, my only musical memory was a wicked version of Taxi Driver. To see these guys perform in front of no more than 20 people was amazing, unlike anything I had ever seen and that includes Generation X. I went back stage and met Razzle for the first time and he seemed so happy to be in this band, I could see it in his eyes, the man was glowing with positive energy. The band left to go to a hotel and the on tour photographer left six live photographs from this first tour behind which I lifted and took back to Edinburgh. It wasn't theft, I just could not allow a non-fan to get their hands on them. If you want them Mike e-mail me at garryborland69@hotmail.com and I'll pass them on. Big hi to all Hanoi lovers Garry Alexander Borland

Kathleen, I knows most of Finnish people speaks and write very high skill English. That's the reason why I posted my message here. Michael wrote letter to us ' as far as this bullshit rumour about me being “beaten up” goes, why don’t you all cut the crap!' I think lots of non finnish fans who come to this board haven't known about it either. Even if we doesn ' t understand Finnish, we could see the post. and wondered what ' s going on? It ' s bother us more worse. I think it's not nice. I wish they stop it!

Being English myself, I have to agree with Kathleen 100%. You Finns are AMAZING at writing/speaking English. I never fail to be impressed when I read this guestbook. How many of us who have English as our first language can speak a second language with such skill? NOT MANY I BET. All credit to you Finns and don't let anyone put you down.

Hey you Mikä vahinko!, how could all the Finns be nice? I'm pretty sure it's not possible because we're not saints, we're only human beings we Finns too. And talking about our language skills, I think we can speak and write English quite well.

I saw Hanoi live in England 23 times between 1983 and '84 and had the pleaseure of meeting Mike several times. You guys were the greatest ever. I was ecstatic to hear of the Hanoi Revisited idea. Please tour in England. You guys are still legends here. I was so sorry to hear about Jude. Best wishes. TRUE rock 'n' roll will never die.

Shame.
