Hey! I think it was Nasty who brought Up Around The Bend to Hanoi in the first place, andd he definately played the signature riff. I wouldn´t cry if they never played that song again, but then it´s only a few minutes and it´s over. Great gig Friday BTW!

to you Manchuria, on Hanoi´s gigs it was Nasty who played the intro in Up Around and atleast at Ruisrock and Ankkarock it was Mickey Crane who played that particular part...ps.I´m pretty sure I´ve come across a Smack homepage somewhere...just keep looking, it´s out there somewhere!!

First of all I'd like to thank Michael and Andy for the Tavastia gig! Great performance by the both of you! You were both so cool! Much respect! Now for once the gig started when it should always start! It was not 1am or later like it's been before, but before mid-night! (ok, call me a loser and disagree with me all you want, but I think that was great!) This time I could actually catch the bus back home and didn't have to stay up all night trying to figure out how to get a ride being a poor bastard that I am! I liked the new material and I'm really looking forward to the album that you'll (hopefully!!!) release before too long. More of this stuff and I'll be salivating all over myself... now, the Hanoi songs were cool, thanks for those (they rocked!), but I wished I'd heard more material from your solo careers and possibly a few more cover songs. OK, I know, you can't get everything, and we all want to hear different songs, but still... here are a few requests that I have. I think you should definitely play them all at a gig at some point (if not every at every gig): Fuck The Army (!!!!!), Strung Out, Born Again Electric, Nothing's Alright, Same Shit Different Day, I Wanna Be Loved, Life Gets You Dirty, Ain't It Fun (!!!!!!), Kick Out The Jams (I think we heard this one...) and pick whatever surprising cover song you choose... You know, what rocks, but what no one expects to hear, but still recognizes and loves(last year's Sputnik gig was a bit like that for me, what a great experience!). From the Hanoi era, I think the following would pretty much make it a "complete" night (if it can ever be one): Up Around The Bend, Taxi Driver, Tragedy, Million Miles Away, Don't You Ever Leave Me, Malibu Beach and last but definitely not least, Self Destruction Blues!!!!!! (the way it was supposed to have been played originally and the way it was done on Life Gets You Dirty). And one more thing: 3-4 encores a night is the minimum from now on, OK!!!!

Would someone please tell me, did Mike and Andy play some more encore songs after Taxi Driver? I had to leave Ankkarock too early. I wanna thank you Micheal and Andy for these two great gigs at Ruisrock and Ankkarock: it was a dream come true to see you play together again your classics. It was just like in the good old days. It still feels like yesterday when I saw Hanoi Rocks live at House of Culture in Helsinki back in 1985. It was their last gig in Finland ever and I had just filled 15. I'll never forget that brilliant show.

I saw Hanoi 17 times way back when and it was always a great show, I've seen much crtisism of Andy's playing at these hanoi revisited shows and I'd like to ask anyone who saw these shows and saw Hanoi back in the day how the shows compared.The point I'm making is that the Hanoi guys always liked to drink and maybe these shows are just like the old days and people who never saw Hanoi before are expecting too much

I just have to say as a defence to all of the people who criticise Andy´s performance at Ankkarock that it really wasn´t Andys fault that the guitars didn´t work! As Mike said during the show that the weather was to blame, I think that Andy was in a good shape during the Ankkarock gig. It was only bad luck that in that very day was rain and the organizers of Ankkarock were quite bad...But once again that´s just my oppinion. I just want to say to Mike and Andy big thank-you´s because you made my and my best friends dream come true. Rain or not rain, it was absolutely the best gig I´ve ever seen! Thanx to u especially Mike, for coming to me and my friend and taking our self-made HR-flag up to the stage. We really think that it was beautiful gesture for us. I just went crazy in every song that you guys performed. Especially during Until I get you and Oriental Beat. I love those songs. Mike, if u noticed you droped your arm thing to the ground. I took it and if I´ll see u someday in Turku I´ll give it to you.. well, just big thanx to u guys, it was a hell of a show!!! If someone has this gig taped on a video mail me, please! this is very important to me!!!! I´ll pay good... I´ve got some photos from Mike´s gig at Karkkila and Ruisrock and also from the Ankkarock... Mike, we´ll love you forever!!!

The Ankkarock gig was cool! Andy was great, Michael was great, the band was great, the songs were great! The only turn offs were the techical problems and the rain. The rain especially ruined the day for me... And the idiots who had their ambrellas open in the crowd so that no one behind them saw anything. Wankers!

The Ankkarock gig could've been better if Mr. McCoy would have been able to play his own, self-written songs. Mike & co did their best but Andy ruined everything. The Ruisrock gig was a lot better or I was much more drunk there... Maybe the latter. There's always someone to blame and this time the scapegoats were rainy weather and guitar roadie, pathetic. I think this was the end of this collaboration but I hope that Mike & Andy will record the new songs they have written together. Sad Sad Sad

The Ankkarock gig could have been better if Andy would have been able to play his own songs... Very big disappointment! Ruisrock was much better or I was much more drunk there... Mike & rest of the band did their job well but Andy ruined the whole thing. Always someone to blame, this time scapegoats were weather and guitar roadie. I guess this was the last time the Muddy Twins performed together. Shame it had to end this way but I hope they record the songs they have written together.
