Maybe Hanoi played in LA,1985 or maybe they did not? Anyway, i really admire Michael, he never lost his style,attitude and that rock n' roll voice! Back in Hanoi days he sounded a little bit POP but nowadays... he keeps getting better and better I've always thought that the last Hanoi tour was in Poland,oh well,i guess i was wrong

To my knowledge Hanoi did play in LA in 1985. I remember Michael mentioning that somewhere. Obviously those gigs weren't "official" gigs, but as mentioned earlier, private parties. I guess those parties were the same, where Hanoi and Mötley jammed together and were later rumoured to merge.

Hanoi did not play a single gig in the US in -85! Razzle died in December -84 and the following gigs after his death were the two memorial concerts in Europe-A-Go-Go in January -85 in Helsinki.

I just heard some sad news. Mickey Crane's band Crystal Extasy is no more! For those of you who don't know what Crystal Extasy was, it was a band that was very much like Hanoi Rocks. Mickey Crane, the lead singer and guitarist played also in Hanoi Revisited and could well have been a member of the new rebirthed Hanoi Rocks if those arguments with Michael Monroe would not have happened.

To see that Hanoi Rocks has become to stay makes me so happy :) I havent heard it much since Razzle did die and to hear it at Elgiganten store was amazing. A young boy working there was amazed to find me to know who those were at CD ;) I was listening Hanoi in 80's ;) from him I did find out that my favorits were playing again in new songs and existed :) I was so happy to hear again up around the bend. Have been a bit of a Hanoi Rocks fan since the age of about 16. Was lucky to see Micheal play at Rock City in Nottingham in 1990,which was amazing, but not Hanoi Rocks as I was a bit too small. Does anyone know where I might be able to get hold of the video "All those wasted years - live at the Marquee?". It all reminds me of my youthful, rock 'n' rollin' days!!!!

new flaming sideburns album "sky pilots" is great! great songs, sounds of course but one thing fucks up, I think "sky pilots" is little bit too light comparing it to "save rock n' roll" album. it was one masterpiece of rock, and second album with bigger label is allways, you know, hard thing to go perfectly well. but flaming sideburns and hanoi rocks are the only real rock bands in finland now. HIM is metal band, those guys couldn't even drink water, they would get sick! well, that's what heavy metal jerks has allways been, nerds and jerks. rock n' rollers are the real thing...
