Ha just listened to Prima Donna, soulstripper. The beginning of the song reminds me of Mud(seventies ),dynamite.Loooong time ago! To be quite honest, not bad at all. Funny how this music took me all the way back.

Plastic Tears-Nine Lives Never Dies! very goog streetrock album..Sounds like Dogs D´amour,OLD New York Dolls and maybe little bit of eighties Hanoi Rocks i was truly stunned when i heard their album for the first time http://www.myspace.com/plastictearsfiThe Chelsea Smiles-Chelsea Smiles. Really good record too! i actually got this before Michael announced that Todd Youth will be in the band(off course i´ve had heard all the rumours though) http://www.myspace.com/thechelseasmilesSorry And The Sinatras-Highball Roller. Scott Sorry from The Wildhearts is singer/guitar player in this band. Really good PunkRock album. Riverside is one of the best songs i´ve ever heard of ttp://www.myspace.com/sorryandthesinatras and Metal part Backstabbing Bastard Still unsingned band from Finland. But i firmly believe that thei will make their breaktrough in this year! Little bit trash/death/old school metal combined..really intresting band which i discovered one year ago ttp://www.myspace.com/mistabbed

Listening to Plastic Tears just now. I like what I hear, but it sounds a bit sluggish. I don't think the mix has done them any good though. The tempo of a live performance would probably swing it for me. They need to be just that tad faster in the studio. The fire/excitement hasn't been captured. Love is for Losers and Everybody's Bitch but mine could be Hanoi Rocks out takes. The singer sounds like Mike with a bit of Taime Downe thrown in.
Love the Chelsea Smiles. Todd's addition to Mikes band is thrilling to me. In fact Mikes band is a fuckin' supergroup of bad asses.
Thanks for the link to Sorry and the Sinatras. I hadn't heard them before and I see they are playing Glasgow in April. Hopefully I can catch them there. Right up my street with that bar room ramalama foot stomping punky rocknroll.
If you haven't checked out The Jim Jones Revue then jump to it right now. I doubt anyone who isn't already dead would be dissapointed.

They're on my To Do list. Found the name scrawled on a scrap of paper after the last MM Tavastia gig, so someone else has also recommended them to me! Seeing Sorry & the Sinatras in London tomorrow nite. Am currently really into Los Bastardos Finlandeses. Great fun!

Doesn't look like they're gonna make it in time, what with this no flying business. They were supposed to be flying over early tomorrow. Still ya never know - miracles might happen & it all clears, & you've still got The Heartburns - they're worth seeing..... Am assuming the New York Dolls are already in France, so they've only gotta come thru the Tunnel to get to the London date.
